Today was sooo hottttt uhg. But still no humidity, so that's awesome. Today started with the 38 Bus. It used to be the 17 or 7 or something. And it used to take me all the way to Lincoln Park. Well not so much anymore it seems. We ended up in downtown on Randolph and like Clark or something. I had my mom look it up and we ended up taking the green line to the brown line, and then the Sedgewick bus to a stop close to LPHS. Seeing my old school was really hard. It made me angry and feel everything I felt that last time I was there in 2005. I missed it so much these past years, and seeing it now made me feel like such an outsider. I'd do a lot to have Englewood replaced with Lincoln Park on my class ring.
Anyway. We went to Allende (ahhhh the memories!) and had some really great food and waited for Dan. I miss my favorite gay! After some chit chat, we walked over to the zoo, where we bumped into Cecilia. Kinda weird seeing really old friends. Anywho, the zoo was fun, hot, hot, and I really like Polar Bears, and it was hot. Amber and I got some frozen lemonades that were really good, and now we're on our way home.
I know I've said it a million times, and I'll just keep saying it... I love being home!
