HAY BLOG, IMY.
So with the combination of work, laziness, no internet thanks to rain, and more laziness, I've absolutely SUCKED at getting on here in (basically) the past month. It's been a GREAT and EVENTFUL month to say the least, but jeeeeeesus, why did I wait so long to update?
Important events:
- Aunt came and went
- Mom's birthday (success!)/I gave her an iPod shuffle
- (Technically I posted about it but w/e) Graduation was AWESOME and so was my makeshift party. I LOVE MY FRIENDS.
- 2*Sweet freaking came to Jacksonville. The entire crowd consisted of Vik, Amber, Kristin, my mom, and myself. Yeah man, it was GREAT (no sarcasm). I made them a million vegan cookies and I got to sing with Justin and TAP in the mic many times, I loved it/them.
- The Summer Set/Everyone Else/We Shot the Moon are so cute. I love them all.
And the most important event...
On Tuesday I saw BAYSIDE and ALKALINE TRIO. I can only list so many ways to explain how great this was. I get way too happy when it comes to seeing Bayside - litteraly, I was shaking. The set was WAY to short, but I got a setlist and Ant's new pick, so I couldn't complain. (Thanks Amber.) Alk3 was spectacular and the bruise on my chest from the stupid barricade is totally worth it. I haven't seen them since 2005, and woooooooooow they were so good. I still tihnk TTW should be their opening song, but that's just my opion so whatever. All in all, definitely one of my favorite shows of 2008.
Oh, and Jon loves Vik and I and Guglielmo loves Mom. Yepp.
I close the next 3 nights in a row at Jamba. OH JOY.
